Story Pitch 2 (iteration of the wizard of oz)
exposition: set in a mysterious and huge high school/boarding school (emerald palace) with mc Dorothy and her best friend (the scarecrow). Set up of everyday life/school drama seems normal.
inciting incident: Dorothy can't remember the rest of her life before getting to the school
Conflict: Dorothy and her friend need to reach the top level to get to the principal(the wizard) to see her records but it is very hard to reach. (people and things they need to get past) student council (the Lion) teacher (the tinman)
Crisis: The principal is dead by the time they get there, the mentor teacher the two had that was next in line for the spot killed him (the witch) who they fight and find out Dorothy isn't where she is supposed to be (human taken to this nonhuman realm!)
Resolution: they send her back to earth with the principal's powers to grant wishes!
Story Pitch 3 (iteration of Frankenstein)
exposition: Frankenstein is a young inventor/tech entrepreneur who wants to make the perfect AI helper that will aid all humankind!
inciting incident: The big exposition is coming up so he needs to make his dream a reality quick and he writes the code a little rushed
Conflict: during his presentation, the AI goes wild after gaining self-consciousness / being powered on and runs out of the building accidentally setting it on fire
Crisis: This incident makes him look like the villain who set the exposition on fire on purpose and he is forced into hiding while hating himself more and more. (as the story goes he starts ruining the life of Frankenstein etc etc) messes up the tech world for humans setting them years back
